DCLX is proud to present Washington’s own Halley Shoenberg in Halley’s Hot Gumbo Swingtet! We’re bringing back this old favorite in her newest way to help you ring in the newest year in the old Spanish Ballroom. She’s an inspired jazz star who’s graced stages from the Kennedy Center to Germany and added her talents to jazz festivals all over DC and in places like British Columbia, New York, and New Orleans too. With her utter mastery of sound and mood (and her clarinet and saxophone), she’ll have you swingin’ out all night, all right.
Speaking of Washington’s own, DC dance team Fidgety Feet will be doing a very special performance during our first band break! Don’t miss it!
We’ve got the fabulous Kelly Pavao and Jeff Booth teachin’ your basics, and the gentleman and scholar Colin Hay spinnin’ your band breaks.
